Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Acne, is due to hormones and other causes like food habits, blockage of follicles. It's treated based on the severety grade. It needs regular skin care routine along with proper antibiotics, exfoliants. SKIN CARE: Use gentle cleanser for washing face 2-3 times daily(as harsh cleansing can damage skin and increase infection of acne) Apply moisturizer immediately after washing face, to retain moisture in skin as healthy skin needs it. (Moisture and oily skin is different) After moisturizer, apply sunscreen during day time. Use only NON-COMEDOGENIC sunscreen( as other sunscreen will block follicles and increase acne) If notv treated properly, it progresses to pustular, nodular acne which damages dermis of skin causing black spots and deep pits(scars). EARLY TREATMENT WILL ALWAYS PREVENT PIGMENTATION and SCARS.
Next Steps
consult or chat with me online/any dermatologist for PROPER GRADING OF ACNE and PRESCRIPTION OF MEDICINE with follow up.
Health Tips
wash/change your towel every 2 days. change your pillow cover every 5 days. Do not frequently touch your face with hands. DO NOT SQUEEZE the lesions, as it damages dermis of skin, causing DEEP SCARS AND PIGMENTATION, which is difficult to treat. consume nutritious, balanced diet. avoid junk foods with high glycemic index like chocolate, burgers, etc.,
