Pimple or dry spot inside of nostril
My nose has been itchy all day and I thought it was due to mucus, but when I came to clean my nose there was no mucus, just a red/pink itchy swelling in my right nostril.

You seem to be suffering from acute rhinitis which is nothing but common cold. You may need to take simple anti cold medicines for few days. You might be looking at your inferior turbinate which may look enlarged during cold. You need not worry about it
