It is seen in females having long sitting hours, Pcos, low fiber diet and sedentary lifestyle. Definitive treatment is surgery but for the time being you should follow the given steps. 1. Betadine 2drops in warm water and sit in tub with one third portion of hips inside the water. 2. You need to take an oral antibiotic and apply antibiotic cream which will be prescribed on consultaion. 3.Get a opd visit done they will tell you the opening of the sinus position. Next they will do a mri to see the entire tract of the sinus and a surgery will be scheduled. 4. Excercise, do yoga, have plenty of water and fiber rich diet. Prefer fruits and green leafy vegetables.

Hello maam, It's very unfortunate that you have a Pilonidal cyst. It's not very common to females. Well maam, it might well turn out to be a simple folliculitis, resolved with oral antibiotics, but if not.. Sadly there are high chances it might become a Pilonidal sinus.. Which will be treated with a surgical procedure known as BASCOMM PROCEDURE/Z PLASTY/ KARYADAKIS procedure. There is no way to tell that by an online consultation.
Next Steps
please visit a nearby surgeon! he will palpate the said spot and decide his approach.
