Piles Stiches
Hi i have done recently piles surgery ( exactly don't know what is called) it has been 8 days and that Stiches still inside of my anal is that any kind of fear if it isn't get desolve after 8days or do i need to fear please help many of persons i heard its dissolve after 8days also don't know what type of surgery doc has done he didn't tell about i m attaching my pic hear to understand better please guide mr

Hello there, you need to calm down regarding the stitches. Absorbable sutures take around 7-14 days depending on wound healing capabilities. Nonetheless you should get a consult from your surgeon regarding the issue so that you can undergo an extended physical exam including per rectal and proctoscopy. In the meantime you can take a seitz bath (lukewarm water with salt or providone iodine solution) where you sit in it for about 10-15minutes. It will help in further healing of the wound.
