Piles and fissure surgery.

Asked for Female, 26 Years

My sister went through surgery for piles and fissure on 3 jan. Wanted to know till how long the pain will remain while passing stool and afterwords? And any suggestions regarding lifestyle and diet after surgery. Thanks in advance.

Hi Pain remains there after piles surgery for few days. But it significantly reduces with sitz bath and lignocaine jelly. If pain is severe, she should consult. Regarding diet, she should take high fibre diet and plenty of fluids.
