Pigmentation post laser
I had two Co2 laser resurfacing sugeries for my trauma scars. But I haven't seen any significant results yet and also part of the skin where the treatment was performed has turned black. I tried Skin whitening cream Advan on it but no effect

Hi! The result of Co2 laser resurfacing is fantastic but it depends heavily on the post procedure care like use of sunscreens and appropriate recovery creams. The result is a slow process requiring lot of patience especially in deep scars. A trauma scar has varying depth. The result is good but slow and not very visible in a couple of months. At least 6 to 12 sessions are required for good results.
Next Steps
Consult your treating doctor.
Health Tips
Use a good sunscreen properly
