Pierre robin syndrome
My baby succumbed2 pierre robin syndrome 24 days after birth.My pregnancy scan reports never showed any abnormalities in my baby inside the womb .And my husband or my family never had a history of any genetic disorders. Still baby was diagnosed with Pierre Robin Syndrome. What's the cause and prevention for this? What precautions to take next time

This anamoly is a very rare occurrence,with no known causes or situations,though recently some genetic interplay has been detected,but NOT absolute. Yes,it can be missed in foetal scans. You can plan for a child again.
