Piece of plastic
We were at the wedding. By mistake I took a plastic spoon and began to feed my 1.8 months child. From the edge of the spoon, he cut the plastic spoon. Few pieces were stuck in his teeth and I tried to take everything out from his mouth. he is eating and sleeping well. I am not sure what to do about it. Shall I go and check with the doctor about it?

Kindly discuss online immediately.. how long has it been since this happened.. did you check if you took out all the pieces? If ur sure nothing more to be done.. if not.. how long has it been since this happened.. you need to observe the child for 24 hrs if the piece had been ingested.. check the stool each time he passes to see if the piece had been passed out..

Patient's detailed medical history is required. It is recommended to consult a doctor professional through the Practo app or visit a local medical facility for a thorough evaluation. Please keep in mind that detailed medical history is crucial for proper diagnosis and treatment.
