Picked the scab
Hello doctors, I had a scratch wound on my foot and had formed a scab over it after healing and i picked and scratcbed it again and blood oozed out and now it is open. I applied ointment bactroban on it. Is it serious? I heard now it can get infected and may cause sepsis that is fatal? Image attatched
