I remember i used to watch shows about snakes and reptiles on discovery channel in childhood (10-12yrs) but now it seems that i fear snakes more than any other thing
whenever i see snake, even in my phone screen i just get anxious as if i'll get bite by it
i have noticed that this has increased a lot after a snake came in my house in lockdown and now there's been case of snakes in my college campus so it has add fuel to the fire i guess.
i also get dreams (not often) about snakes
i just want to get out of this mess and live a less anxious life as i am already suffering from social anxiety and other things
how can i overcome this fear?

Fear of snakes, Ophidiophobia, can be treated with a combination of behavior therapy and anti anxiety medications. Consult an astute psychiatrist and seek remedy. Good luck
