Care AI Shimmer
Your symptoms are commonly seen with post-nasal drip or acid reflux related throat irritation. Morning phlegm and gagging during brushing usually improve with simple medical treatment and lifestyle changes.
Next Steps
Steam inhalation, adequate hydration, and prescribed anti-allergy or nasal spray medicines may help. If symptoms persist beyond 2–3 weeks or worsen, an ENT examination is advised to rule out sinusitis or reflux.
Health Tips
Avoid smoking, irritants, very cold foods, and late-night meals.
