Persistent coughing
Had an bad infection after viral . Was on strong antibiotics (augmentin 1000).recovered and did a follow up doctor said : though there is reminent infection but won't prescribe further antibiotics.. was put on monti also talking fluxonase for my old allergy but coughing persists

it's common to have persisting cough after an attack of viral upper respiratory tract infection. continue same medications. do steam inhalation twice daily. use lozenzes such as strepsils or tusq. also drink plenty of clean water
