Persistent cough
I am having persistent cough for the past 1 week and it gets worse in night Please help as it's very difficult to sleep.

hello there.
the diagnosis of what type of cough it is and what is causing the cough is very difficult to make with only so much history.
do you have breathing discomfort? do you have sputum while coughing?
do you smoke? if yes, then how much?
kindly consult a physician with all these details and he will need to examine your chest to come to a diagnosis so that he can give you specific treatment.
