Use practo.com to locate a good ENT specialist near you and get her examined. The cough could be due to one of four reasons. 1. Irritation to throat directly 2. Postnasal drip from nose and sinuses causing secondary infection or irritation to throat 3. Lung related as in TB or Asthma 4. Stomach related(most probable and least commonly diagnosed by GPs) due to stress related refluxing of stomach acid and irritation to throat and voicebox by this acid. Your ENT specialist should be able to examine you and isolate your condition and treat accordingly.
