I am suffering from pcod.. and acne since last 11 years.. have taken several treatments for acne as well as pcod.. was on ocp for more than one year.. and when I am on medication, acne is less.. but once I am off treatment, it comes back..and speaking about acne, I have grade 2/3 acne..have taken doxycycline tab , clindamycin cream, retinoids etc.. diet is also fine.. I am 165cm tall , weighing 66 kg.. doc has asked me not to take anymore treatment for pcod as I can get resistant to the medicines... What should I do for the acne?

Unless pcod is treated, acne will continue. I don't understand why treatment for pcod will cause resistance to acne treatment. It is the reverse. Please send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment advice

Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please consult me in my clinic or consult me by direct online consultation by sending photos as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment
