I am 37 year old & Type 1 Diabetic, is there permanent cure for Diabetes? Is there any Medicine for permanent cure?

Type 1 diabetic patients need insulin supplement for the whole life. As of now there is no cure. It's very important to keep the sugar levels controlled with insulin to prevent long term complications.
