Hi, Type 1 Diabetes is never fatal , if treated properly . you can lead as normal life as possible , as any other person with out diabetes. for that to happen , however, you need to make sure you take your meals on time, as suggested by the dietician , and also do take your insulin as been told, and on time. Few things you need to make sure includes never skip meals never miss your insulin you need plan your exercise properly be aware of symptoms from low sugar level if you do get ill for any reason, dont stop taking your insulin , but instead check you sugar levels more often and seek help immediately. drop me a line if you need more information.
