Peripheral neuropathy
My brother has been suffering from chest pain from few days,now the symptoms are aggrevated from a week now he is having burning sensation in scalp and face as well as hands, also his skin has become highly sensitive it is somehow painful to touch and grab things also scalp in very sensitive to touch. We visited general physician after his tests his b 12 was 140,he is prescribed with nervigen injection for 5 days and then once for 6 months and Matilda forte for 3 months. Doctor told him that due to deficiency of b 12 he is suffering from peripheral neuropathy .It has been 4 days of taking injections still he is having burning sensation in scalp forehead and hands. What should he do? Is it possible to have these symptoms due to defeciecy of B12. please help
