We had protected sex at night but still I had a doubt so I took ipill tablets immediately the next day around 12 noon.. . so my question is can tablets be the reason for delay in periods. Will I get periods on time or late or early??
Please guide ...

Emergency pill cause hormonal imbalance.
Period can be delayed by few weeks.
Pill has high failure rate so do pregnancy test if you miss your period date.

The emergency contraceptive pill you took carries a high dose of hormone, and shifting your next period earlier or later than usual is a well known, expected effect of it, not a sign of a problem. The flow that cycle can also be lighter or heavier than normal.
Next Steps
Give it up to a week past your expected date before worrying. If your period still hasn't come by then, take a home pregnancy test to rule that out.
