Doing an MTP should usually make one aware of the "hazards" of unprotected sex. Inspite of doing MTP if you are going to indulge in unprotected sex, one can never be sure of your next menses. An MTP prevents pregnancy for ONLY 15 days after abortion. Any unprotected sex after this period can have the potential to cause pregnancy. If you feel the need to have sex, at the elast you can do is to use condoms. If you are going to have multiple relations with your boy friend and that too unprotected , using a oral contraceptive pill will atleast prevent you from pregnancy. Use of condoms for any sexual act with Steady or "non steady" partners is BEST as it protects against sexually transmitted infections. A person who is ready to have an illicit affair is also capable of sleeping with others, hence is at risk of getting infections from multiple partners
Next Steps
If one month passes since your abortion, and you dont get menses, please do a urine pregnancy test on an early morning sample in a lab. This will detect the pregnancy, if it is there
