Periods after miscarriage
Hello doctor Recently my friend had miscarriage at 17 weeks. Ie.. Dec 31st . And jan 17th did scan report says no rpoc. She got her period on 11th Feb with light bleeding for 3days and again she got her period on 25th Feb with light bleeding for 3 days . Now she got period on 11th March with spotting. Attached the scan report which performwd on Jan 17th . Please help on this query

Please get a sonography done again. If it doesn't show any RPOC then she should consult with her Gynaecologist regarding the need for hormone treatment to regularise her periods.

Suggestive of hormonal imbalance, she can consult and start hormone pills for 2-3 cycles

Irregular  bleeding  can occur after a abortion due to hormonal variations..she needs evaluation if this occurs  even in next cycle..
