Period were late

Asked for Female, 24 Years

Periods were late hence our doc asked to do hcg test which was negative, then they asked for thyroid test which is also normal...however we r confused is she is pregnant or not as in thyroid report tsh is 2.47 which comes under pregnancy reference range of 1st trimester what does that mean ...period were late almost a month (20 days)...pls suggest...
