My period is usually heavy on days 1-3 with bad cramps, it is then much lighter at day 4 with no cramps. However, at day 5 it is suddenly heavy with excruciating pains and then days 6 and 7 are sometimes light and sometimes heavy

Get done ultrasonography to know the pathology of uterus.Also get done TSH level.With reports meet to gynaecologist and discuss with her.Most probably it is hormonal changes because your age is less.
