Anal fistula can not be treated by oral medicines so usually, surgery is advised to treat anal fistula. But surgery is not the right choice to treat anal fistula for the reason of recurrence of fistula after surgery (even in latest treatment options like vaaft and laser; in about 25% cases anal fistula recurs after treatment) and other complications like stool incontinence (inability to hold stool) etc. However; anal fistula can be completely treated without any complication by graded ksharsutra treatment. Clinical trials conducted by the Indian council of medical research (icmr) at aiims new delhi and pgi chandigarh have also proven that ksharsutra treatment is more convenient and more effective than surgery in patients suffering from anal fistula. You need not to take bed rest or get hospitalized in this treatment. You can continue your normal routine activities during treatment.
