Pedal edama
I am writing this on behalf of my mom. She has bilateral pedal edema since one week for which we have consulted a general physician.various investigations were done as per her advice including rft lft, uric acid, cbc, electrolytes, ra factor ecg. All investigations were normal except mild elevation in hdl. She has had hypertension over the past 6 years and is on telmisartan 40 mg od which is switched to telma h by the dr in view of pedal edama.currently she has pitting edema on left leg along with pain.it would be nice if you could tell me which investigation we have to carry out inorder to find out the real cause for this pedal edama?
