Pcos with acne n low thyr
I have been diagnosed with low thyroid function and pcos. I have irregular periods and acne on my cheeks and chin area on a regular basis. I am currently taking thyronorm. What is the course of treatment in these conditions?

Hi...., I went through your query... Treatment of hypothyroidism is usually life long until your thyroid hormones are normal.. For PCOS your Gynecologist will prescribe oral contraceptive pills to regulate your menstrual cycle.... If you wish to become pregnant then you need to stop OCP pills and switch over to antiestrogens.....Kindly consult your Gynecologist for further advice...
