Look amla has medicinal properties especially when it is taken in raw form. This will interfere with the medicine which your dr has prescribed. So, go for your simple day today diet which you take on a daily basis. Avoid taking herbs, raw amla or garlic or herb mixtures , etc.

Sour foods or pickles are generally hydroscopic. They have a tendency to retain water for a long time. It will increase weight which in turn is not good for pcod.
Follow your dr.advice
Sour foods cause PH increase in your body, and also leads to gastric acidity. Better to avoid it for good health
