Pcod tests
I got few hormone tests done for suspicion of PCOD. The values are as follows-17-OH Progesterone-0.97ng/ml,Testosterone-0.29ng/ml,LH-5.41mIU/ml,FSH-4.33mIU/ML,DHEA-SO4-144.4micrograms/DL.TSH-2.18microIU/ml.USG says marginal PCOD pattern of ovaries.I have only moderate acne as symptom. Do I have PCOD?

Hello....., polycystic ovarian syndrome is the most common cause for irregular periods in these days. It's due to hormonal imbalance between LG and FSH. Common symptoms are irregular periods, hirsutism, weight gain.. It's long term problem.. Reduction in weight shows significant improvement in pcos... Difficulty in pregnancy is common problem with pcos. Oral contraceptive pills regularise periods with minimal bleeding ,tests will be correlated with symtoms,consult gynecologist,
