Can one of the causes of pcos is smoking? How adversely it can affect the ovaries of it is enlarged and swollen?

Smoking hasn't been directly linked to PCOS. But a patient of PCOS is at high CV risk by virtue of insulin resistance. And smoking would increase the risk further.
