PCOD and LH spike relation
My wife is diagnosed with PCOD, She is taking APCOD and getting her menses around 30 to 32 days. In order to get pregnant we are having intercourses by identifying the fertile window using Ovulation Predictor Kit. We recently came to know that OPK will not give accurate results for women with PCOD as their LH will be at spike during their entire cycle. But, in my wife's case we see spike only on a day around 15 to 17th day from the 1st day of her menses and same is accompanied with cervical mucus discharge. So, my question is, if there is LH spike and cervical mucus, does that mean a mature egg is guaranteed to be released? Or still there can be a possibility for anovulation cycle? Thanks in Advance!

All these tests and signs are only predictors of ovulation...they cannot guarantee if ovulation has happened or not ...the sure shot way to find out is a progesterone test or transvaginal sonography... Connect with me online for more information
