PCOD and Irregular periods
Dear Doctor,
I am 27 years old, single.I am having PCOD problem and having irregular periods. If i am using tablets, i will get periods otherwise i will not. I have taken treatment for almost a year after that my periods were on time for 3 months and again its been 3 months, i didnt get periods. I am so worried. Please help me out. How to get rid of this issue. Kindly suggest.

You were on correct treatment. This takes time. Often you will have to continue till 2-3 yeras. I would advise to repeat ultrasound abdomen and check out the current situation. Mentrual irregularities are often due to Thyroidism also, so get a thyroid profile tested as well.
