Unfortunately, the best I can do is try not to think about them. I have negligible control over my own emotions, even though I’ve usually been able to control my actions since May 2020 (even under duress). Even trying to control my thoughts often fails, though.Accept them as valuable lessons. It’s not always that easy I understand this but there’s no point in fooling yourself that you’re innocent or your regrets aren’t lurking in your history. Pain is gain, and regrets I see them as pain.

When we can not forgive others for their deeds we hold on to the grudge which harms us more than the person we keep the grudge for. Or when we know we did something (probably wrong) which has harmed someone knowingly or unknowingly in the past haunts us for a long time. In both the cases we are harming ourselves.please start writing things that disturb you, write whatever is running in your mind originally without inhibitions. Learn to let go,discover new avenues to distract your self from present thoughts.try having a proper night sleep. If you have a trustworthy friend or relative discuss freely. If nothings helps seek professional help.
Next Steps
practice simple deep breathing exercises.
