Passing frequent foamy stool

Asked for Male, 30 Years

My son is one month 10 days old and he is passing 5-7 time frequent foamy stool. His weight is 3.6 kg and doctor told that it is normal. However I gave entrogermina 2.5 ml he relexe in releasing stool it reduce 5-7 time to 2 times I request you too kindly suggest me can I give entrogermina 2.5 or should be discontinued .and this type is passing foamy stool is normal

This frequency is normal for this age . Watch for consistency ..if the stools are watery and baby is dull and not taking feeds ..kindly get an examination done . Also stools depends upon what kind of feed8ng he is receiving.

5-7times stool passage is normal for the age if the child is gaining weight appropriately and is otherwise active. Enterogermina is not needed. If your child is formula fed and passing foamy stools change of formula may be needed.
