I need guidance regarding my father. He is diabetic and recently had very high
sugar in august month, but after hospital treatment everything is under control now. He has ongoing hearing and speech problems since a severe high-sugar episode two years ago, and now he walks slowly with leg stiffness. He also has frequent BP fluctuations. One doctor suggested Parkinson’s and prescribed Syndopa 110 mg, but he has no tremors, so we are unsure. He becomes very nervous even with minor issues and keeps asking to see different doctors. Earlier, after his first high-sugar episode two years ago, his diabetic doctor had given him anxiety medication, but he stopped taking it about six months before this recent sugar spike in August. Could you please advise whether his symptoms suggest Parkinson’s, what tests we should do to confirm it, and what can be done to improve his hearing, speech, anxiety, and overall condition?
