Hello sir/madam One thing I want to assure you is that u need not worry about paracetamol being given to you child with hydronephrosis, as it more commonly effects liver if taken in large doses. And was hydronephrosis a unilateral(one side) hydronephrosis or bilateral(both sided) if yes how much  dilatation measures? Are there any other abnormalities associated with it.? When was first antenatal(before delivery) scan revealed to have hydronephrosis?
Next Steps
I would advice you to follow up with a pediatrician if fever continues.
Health Tips
paracetamol to be given as prescribed only. if no scans have been done after birth then repeat a USG scan n body to nearby pediatrician
