Panic Disorder
Respected Doctors !! My Name is Bilal Shah i am 31 years old Male. location Pune, Hinjewadi. I have been going through serious problem of panic disorder from last at-least 12 to 14 months. in the very beginning i anticipated a heart problem, i used to have at-least an ECG a day, it was coming every time, i was not stratified with ECG so doctor asked me to go for stress test and 2d Echo, fortunately reports again came good. I have been admitted to hospital many times because of this issue as i could never handle. I have been able to overcome this by my own almost 80% but even now when sometimes i have the attack i feel myself in a very miserable condition. i want a complete end of this problem. I had medication earlier but they were of no help so i stopped having all medicines, i am only taking aciloc as i face hyperacidity problem as well. Please advise me. I am sure you may understand what i am going through. Thank you Regards Bilal Shah

Dear Bilal first of all I would like to thank you for brilliant description of your problem. Now coming to your problem: what you were exactly feeling initially during so called panic attack..? What you were exactly thinking before consulting doctor for ECG investigation or any other problem.? You said you are 80 % OK, what is residual 20% now.
Next Steps
Medication and psychotherapy needed as a part of the management. Diagnosis will depend on answer of above questions. It might be a different condition other than panic attacks.

Hello.. Well I would want to know if you have tested for thyroid levels as it might be a reason of your symptoms..I would also suggest you to meet a psychiatrist once as he is the better person to handle panic attacks which simulates cardiac problems as well as acidity.. thank you
