My mother has been diagnosed with Sarcomatoid pancreatic carcinoma stage 4 last August. Two of her maternal aunts were also been attacked by cancer, one with breast cancer and another with cervical cancer previously. I am a single child. Do I have any risk of getting Pancreatic Cancer or any such cancer? If yes how to screen myself ?

Hello. In patients with history of cancer in the family, it is advisable to get screened for germline mutations. This is best done under the guidance of and after consulting an experienced genetic counselor. Thanks.
