Pale brown spot on the white part of eye

Please help, I have developed a pale brown spot on the white part of my left eye. What is this and is this a serious thing? Please advice what steps need to be taken to get rid of this.

May be pigmentation. Pl use Refresh tears eye drops .Pl have vision test and slitlamp eye examination. P consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
