Pains in leg muscles
My mother is having severe pains in her legs .She is diabetic n takes insulin 12units at night. Her sugar remains around 120 in the mng .She is getting weak and is having severe pain in her legs.kindly suggest the right treatment

There could be three things..weak bones weak nerves or weak blood vessels..first get a dexa scan to quantify the health of her bones...vitamin d 3 and vitamin b 12 levels...and then colour dopplers arterial of legs to check blood flow...all of these could lead to pain in a diabetic patient
