Pain while opening mouth
2 weeks ago I had a tooth removed . The tooth was placed on the upper right side and was the third tooth from the back. The procedure was painless. After couple of days my jaw opening has become limited and it pains on the right side. I would like any suggestions or education on what my problem is currently and what are the causes of my jaw pain. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hello, Kindly let me know the following answers- 1. Was the extraction time long? 2. Do you have any X ray ? 3. Is there any other tooth/ teeth affected in the same area? Or back area? 4. Did you have pain before extraction in the same area? If the answer is positive, you might have other dental or joint issue.
Next Steps
Consult your same dentist.

Sir this can occur from multiple reasons. As you have already started the process. It is always better to have a discussion with your Dentist. As they are seeing you regularly they can be more specific in explaining the situation .  Avoid self diagnosis . Hope this helped
