Pain while moving eye

I have pain in my right eye when I try to move it up right or left. There is no swelling, redness or pain while pressing the eye ball. I had cold and fever few days back. What could it be?

check if there is any blurring of vision by closing one eye at a time ,if u don't see any decrease in vision then it could be simple eye strain .
