Pain where the widom tooth has grown
I have pain in my wisdom tooth, but the tooth is not impacted, ill attach the x ray. And neither i feel it is gum disease... i dont want to extract the tooth. pl help

hello you can do warm salt water rinses it will give u relief from pain .if the pain still persists visit a dentist and get it checked.get an xray done.Best treatment for wisdom tooth is to get it removed.

Hello. Clinically entrapment of gums between the two wisdom tooth should be checked, followed by x ray to rule out interproximal caries. As you have mentioned that the tooth is not impacted so upper tooth might be the one creating problems. Tooth creating problem should be removed as wisdom tooth problems comes back, so better to get rid of them.

Hello..There are sometimes when there can be pain induced from the upper third molar. Clinical investigation must be to done to get a better picture of the situation. Please do post your OPG / x-ray.

Pain in the wisdom tooth can I arise due two reasons, one a cavity and other soft tissue over the tooth gets inflamed or infected.
Next Steps
If tooth is erupting into a normal position with rest of the teeth segment then no intervention is required. But if otherwise removal/ extraction would be a wise option to prevent further complications.
