Pain management post tooth extraction
I got my upper 3rd molar extracted yesterday. The doctor also gave me a stitch at the extraction site. I am taking ketorol-dt for pain management. I had taken it for 5 days before the surgery as well as there was pain so doctor had suggested it. I found out that this medicine should not be used for long and i really need a painkiller right now as i haven't been able to sleep because of the pain. Please suggest what other medicines i can use in this case?

After extraction of tooth you may feel pain after few days also. Try to maintain good oral hygiene by brushing twice a day, Warm saline water rinses two to three times a day. You can take any painkiller available like sumo, Zerodol SP. If pain still persist then consult with doctor.
