  4. Pain in upper right abdomen. Many years.

Pain in upper right abdomen
I am having mild pain, dullness near upper right abdomen. It comes and goes when I drink alcohol for longer durations band subsides when I abstain from for few days. What it could be. I am trying to avoid alcohol and have IBS from many years.

Kindly provide proper history. For now reduce alcohol to maximum but don't abruptly stop it. And do USG whole abdomen and LFT and lipid profile. For doubts and proper management consult

Hi., I can understand your concern. That's where your liver resides. Consuming alcohol will make your liver dull and worsen your IBS. So try to avoid alcohol little by little.
