Pain in the upper part of the eye
Suddenly since yesterday my mother is having pain in the upper part of the left eye (eye lid area and crease). Today the pain is increasing when she's opening her eye,  there is redness of the eye from today and also water coming out from the left eye today. She is saying that the pain is there in the inner part of the eye. She has never had eye pain before. I have put an image of her left eye- the underlined part is where the pain is happening. Please help.

Pain in and around the eye very often could be sinusitis related. If there is no swelling around the eye, or pain on eye movement then please do steam inhalation 10min morning and evening and take tablet LEVOCET-M at bedtime for 3 weeks. The tablet can cause drowsiness and hence should be consumed only at bedtime. If there is swelling around the eye which is increasing or pain on moving eye side to side and up to down then please urgently see and eye doctor as oral or IV antibiotics may be required.
Next Steps
Steam inhalation 10min morning and evening for 3 weeks Tablet LEVOCET-M at bedtime for 3 weeks (if taking any other medications then consult with physician before starting to prevent and interactions)
