Pain in the throat
There is a persistent pain in the right side of my throat which becomes even more painful whenever I swallow food or saliva or while I'm eating something hot or cold.

If it's acute then it may be acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which needs to be treated by antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle. If it's lasting for few months then it may be reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder
