Pain in the foot
I have pain the area of foot as in pic affixed starting and around from that point and above till the curve below thumb. . Also, I can see there are some kind of depressions on the lower side of foot as if that part has sunken down and a light area of skin has covered it up. Earlier, such spots were only 1 or 2 but now today I can see 11-12 of them. I feel no pain when these spots r presses. Only, pain in the area shown in the pic when presses increases else it pains as if the pain continuously in the background. Not that it pains everyday but yes, often. What is the reason of the pain and the depressions on the below part of foot? What can be done to allieviate it?

I guess it's plantar fasciitis... After seeing your discription. But needs examination to conclude. Ayurveda has treatment for your complaint.

In Most of cases pain at lateral side of ankle due to fascitis. (vatkantak) In that case we  need detail history about pain consistancy, aggravating factors all that. Hello... the pic does not clears as per your saying, you need to consult Ayurvedic physician nearby  you. The pain may be due to many reasons, so please physically show it to Ayurveda physican

Wrap your foot daily 2 times in warm cloth. Or u can give dry heat to foot. Don't use water heating bag. Rotate the foot in clockwise & anticlockwise 10 times daily. Don't eat spicy food.
