Pain in right Shoulder
Hi, I have been witnessed that my right arm shoulder (rotator cuff muscles) is paining for the past 2 months. There has been a little pain while raising my arm above. I used to bowl while playing cricket in previous days, but now I can't even throw the ball. Is this is a seriuos issue ?. Kindly suggest me some good methods to overcome this problem.

Thanks for writing in Seems you have sustained sports injury. Pain while raising your arm above the shoulder could be either tear or inflammation in the muscle or tendon surrounding your shoulder joint which needs a thorough examination by an orthopedic doctor. After examination he might ask you to undergo xray with or without MRI, which will clearly show us what's happening inside your shoulder. If it is minor than the doctor might suggest you to undergo few exercises, but if it is tear then he might suggest some other treatment methods.
Next Steps
Orthopedic doctor opinion.
Health Tips
Avoid overhead activities, lifting weight, lying on same side. Ice packs can help in decreasing pain but not in gaining movement or healing the tear if it is there.
