Pain in right lower leg
At times slight pain at the spot below right back pocket and burning pain on back side of lower leg below knee. Accompanied with numbness up till the sole of the foot. Pain starts after walking / standing for long. Have undergone MRI of lower back and then as advised under went physio therapy and decompression 4 mths ago. Discontinued with heavy dosage of allopathy and presently switched over to homeopathy.

Hello There, I can understand your concern, all your complains are consistent with sciatica. sciatica is caused by a compression of the nerve root anywhere in its path by anything be it disc prolapse or any other. the treatment is by physiotherapy, pain killers, B-complex supplements. It usually takes a long time to revert to normal, like even upto a year. take a pain killer like Zerodol-TH8 twice a day after food, tab. renerve plus once a day after food. kindly continue physiotherapy. best regards, Dr. Anil Kumar Jain

Hi there.. I can understand your worry.. but please stick to one type of medicines.. if your taking allopathic continue it.. if you taking homeopathic then stick with it.. your symptoms backpain radiating along whole leg upto foot associated with burning sensation is sciatica which is likely to be due to nerve compression either due to disc prolapse, lumbar spondylosis.. continue physiotherapy please.. take b complex tablets, do regular back leg exercises to strengthen muscles.. avoid bending, heavy weight lifting..
