I get cruchy feeling in right side chest muscles(attached to sternum? I have pain along the sternum for a year now.
but i noticed now while massaging that i feel the muscles are not firm like left side.

Hi. Ur pain may be due to myalgia or due to costo chondritis. These pains r usually troubling for short duration n may go of their own. Calcium rich diet n sunlight exposure may be useful in costo chondritis.
Flabby muscles may be made toned by light resistive exercises.
Doing some massage , heat may stimulate muscles n make u feel better

It may be what is known as costochondritis which is like a swelling of muscles attached to sternum. If it is there for more than a year it can be managed by medicines or some pain relieving injections. Consult with a pain management doctor
